When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Amador Raymond took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rolando Mancio to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute of the match Pcachorrou got a corner. Carlisle FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Ursino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Pcachorrou's Fabio Rico getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rodolfo Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Browall having to interfere. Candido Belmiro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Raymond in the 45th minute of play forced Pcachorrou's goalkeeper Rolando Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rolando Mancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Raymond's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Pcachorrou succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carlisle FC had controlled the match.
