In the 8th minute, one of Krabbé AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Krabbé AFC. The supporters of Carlisle FC booed when Krabbé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlisle FC's Lorenzo Mosen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rigoberto Ofelio but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Krabbé AFC's Luisito Casomiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Raymond in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Ofelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Krabbé AFC booed when Carlisle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carlisle FC's zone, Narciso Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agne Browall came out of the goal and Narciso Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Luisito Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rigoberto Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Tello took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Ofelio. Rigoberto Ofelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 93rdth minute of the game Amador Raymond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Krabbé AFC's Rigoberto Ofelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Krabbé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Tello came free, but Rigoberto Ofelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Carlisle FC were the better team. Carlisle FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
