The audience was convinced that Hernan Norino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Gelmiro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Quebrachito FC defense, Cássio Custódio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Mark. The Quebrachito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Mark should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Lauaxeta got free with Hector Gelmiro in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Norberto Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Quebrachito FC's Javier Lauaxeta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Gelmiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Hector Gelmiro managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Quebrachito FC's Javier Lauaxeta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Gelmiro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quebrachito FC's Javier Lauaxeta. But to his dismay, Javier Lauaxeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hector Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Urko in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Emiliano Johans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachito FC and the Olain FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Quebrachito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Johans to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Javier Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Johans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hector Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Guillem hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Javier Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebrachito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olain FC's Hector Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Norino in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Olain FC defense, Hernan Norino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Gelmiro. The Olain FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Gelmiro should have stopped the shot. Rafa Souto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aquiles Mark firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Nereo Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafa Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aquiles Mark made a huge save. Olain FC's Hector Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Norino in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Olain FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Norino came free, but Hector Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Olain FC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Custódio. Quebrachito FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
