Aquiles Tajo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cornelio Felo. In the 29th minute Celedonio Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Felo's late challenge caught a Curumalán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Felo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Buchanan FC's Cornelio Felo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Celedonio Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Buchanan FC defense, Celedonio Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Montez. The Buchanan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Montez should have stopped the shot. Celedonio Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Montez having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Rene Gipuzkoa made the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Licerio in the 53rd minute of the match. Francisco Mederi charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Mederi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Artemio Montez, was totally fooled by Curumalán FC's Celestino Ganix, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Buchanan FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Rene Gipuzkoa scored to the left of an out of position Artemio Montez, making the score, 0-3. Curumalán FC's Aquiles Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Hondo in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buchanan FC's Eusebio Hondo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Aquiles Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Licerio in the 95th minute of play.
