When Miguel Haritz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Fages Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Haritz couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Haritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Leopoldo Jago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Azopardo's Lisandro Bastian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Orti. That made the score 1-2 after 58 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Bastian in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Orti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fages Athletic Club's Cipriano Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Bastian in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Haritz in the 73rd minute of play forced Azopardo's goalkeeper Ulises Policarpio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Cordareo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ulises Policarpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Haritz in the 81st minute of play. During the 81st minute of the match Diego Cordareo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diego Cordareo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 82nd match minute, Fages Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cordareo to maneuver through the defense.
