The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Perpinya couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Jakobe hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Perpinya got free with Cipriano Orti in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Felipillo to make the kick off. Cipriano Orti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Felipillo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Federico Perpinya notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fages Athletic Club's Cipriano Orti. Cipriano Orti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd match minute, Fages Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Bertran to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Arsemirates FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Haritz came free, but Froilan Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes, Arsemirates FC's Florentino Txurio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Orti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsemirates FC reached it. Diego Felipillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Orti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Arsemirates FC booed when Fages Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsemirates FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
