Cosme Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjuli's goalkeeper Luis Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Anjuli got a freekick which was hit by Diego Tiadoro.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Ralondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Anjuli got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Manuelo. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mateo Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonasito's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Olando during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavio Veremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Hug went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
