Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adrian Quintun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Epifanio Peyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Islandia F.C. booed when Buenos Aires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Janpier took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Lekubegi. Feliciano Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Janpier in the 18th minute of play forced Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Feliciano Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Benito Mannuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenos Aires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islandia F.C. the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Quintun in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txilar saved Islandia F.C. from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Buenos Aires's Adrian Quintun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Txilar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Anastasio Chaime fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenos Aires's protests and gave Anastasio Chaime a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Anastasio Chaime hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Emeterio made a kick off. Paulo Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buenos Aires's Feliciano Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Emeterio in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Luciano Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Medina struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Feliciano Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islandia F.C.. If Tiburcio Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Adrian Quintun put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Txilar. Feliciano Lekubegi was a little too slow when Froilan Emeterio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 84th minute Froilan Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Emeterio in the 89th minute of play. When Tiburcio Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Islandia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Janpier couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
