Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciriaco Xabier kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Alfredo Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, QUILMES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Onofre hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. QUILMES FC's Alfredo Amato got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Augusto Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Confesor in the 22nd minute of play. Eriberto Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Erramu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Xabier in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Motta saved ELCASTI FC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, QUILMES FC's Tiburcio Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburcio Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Primitivo Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, QUILMES FC's Alfredo Amato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Augusto Motta. José Augusto Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Silvio Hori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. José Augusto Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Motta having to interfere. If Dario Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Amato in the 61st minute of the match. José Augusto Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Augusto Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Faron in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Amato in the 65th minute of play forced ELCASTI FC's goalkeeper José Augusto Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Xabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Xabier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind ELCASTI FC's goalkeeper José Augusto Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. QUILMES FC's Ciriaco Xabier got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eriberto Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. ELCASTI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Confesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Erramu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ELCASTI FC's goalkeeper José Augusto Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primitivo Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Confesor in the 86th minute of play. After 92 played minutes ELCASTI FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Salvatore. A collision led to QUILMES FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Silvio Hori hit a great ball. Silvio Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The QUILMES FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
