If Eriberto Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Bembe in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Tiburcio Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talacasto AFC's Inocencio Checa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ELCASTI FC. After 32 minutes, Eriberto Confesor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ELCASTI FC and the Talacasto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Talacasto AFC booed when ELCASTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Pascual Urki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Talacasto AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inocencio Checa in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Inocencio Checa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Augusto Motta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pascual Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Motta having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Confesor made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Tiburcio Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Urki in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Pascual Urki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Augusto Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A hard shot 65 in the game by Pascual Urki from a close distance when the talented José Augusto Motta managed to make a qualified save. ELCASTI FC's players were relieved. 67 minutes into the match, ELCASTI FC's goalkeeper José Augusto Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Urki. In the 70th minute, Vinicio Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Anthony Dulac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELCASTI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Dulac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Salvatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Raimundo Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Rioja struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Raimundo Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELCASTI FC. After a defensive mix-up in ELCASTI FC's zone, Pascual Urki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto Motta came out of the goal and Pascual Urki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Talacasto AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
