Emmanuel Dennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Erramu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in QUILMES FC's zone, Zakarias Penning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Erramu came out of the goal and Zakarias Penning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Emmanuel Dennis put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Primitivo Erramu. QUILMES FC's Primitivo Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Dennis in the 39th minute of play. Dario Hermelando charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After the first half Pillahuincó were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Tohias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Zakarias Penning could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Primitivo Erramu however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute, Alfredo Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pillahuincó's Zakarias Penning in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With 77 minutes on the clock, Feliciano Madaleno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 76th minute, one of QUILMES FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for QUILMES FC. With his leg Primitivo Erramu managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Pillahuincó's Zakarias Penning fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zakarias Penning did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Primitivo Erramu 89 minutes into the match. Primitivo Erramu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Dennis in the 93rd minute. Primitivo Erramu made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rosendo Matthew sent off a good shot on target. Emmanuel Dennis in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
