The supporters of Talacasto AFC booed when COVID-19 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Talacasto AFC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Talacasto AFC's Pascual Urki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Bembe to strike the kick off in the second half. After 68 minutes, Urbano Urbasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COVID-19 and the Talacasto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbano Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Zeledon Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Bembe in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Pascual Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play COVID-19's Urbano Urbasa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 77 played minutes COVID-19 got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Urbasa. Braulio Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Ponce having to interfere. Pascual Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zeledon Mederi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talacasto AFC's Arnoldo Loi got a free kick in the 90th minute.
