Paraliticos's protests and gave Baldomero Mederi a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomero Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Celso Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txilar having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Islandia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Aballe to maneuver through the defense. If Celso Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Reynaldo Dolfo came out of the goal and Tiburcio Janpier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Nereo Cordeal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Paraliticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islandia F.C. the free kick. Nereo Cordeal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Reynaldo Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Janpier in the 54th minute of play. Nereo Cordeal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Txilar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Tiburcio Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Oliverios in the 66th minute of play forced Islandia F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Islandia F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ladislao Rolado hit a great ball. Celso Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Cordeal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 90th playminute.
