Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Talacasto AFC's Cleto Bembe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lisandro Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Obano in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Obanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Norino to maneuver through the defense. If Pascual Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Obanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Obanta's Lisandro Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Bembe in the 15th minute of play. Eustaquio Bihar struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Raimundo Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obanta. In the 24th minute, Eustaquio Bihar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raimundo Ponce. The goal made the score 1-1. Eustaquio Bihars short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Raimundo Ponce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Obano in the 28th minute of play forced Obanta's goalkeeper Lisandro Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Evelio Gamus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talacasto AFC the free kick. Evelio Gamus kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Diego Monte missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 36 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lisandro Presebal right hand side. Eustaquio Bihar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Raimundo Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obanta. Eustaquio Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Baldomero Norino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimundo Ponce. Talacasto AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Norino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Benjamin Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Raimundo Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obanta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bihar in the 58th minute of play forced Talacasto AFC's goalkeeper Raimundo Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes, Diego Monte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talacasto AFC and the Obanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Talacasto AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Diego Monte hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Eustaquio Bihar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lisandro Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cosme Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Pascual Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talacasto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Talacasto AFC's zone, Eustaquio Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Ponce came out of the goal and Eustaquio Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Obanta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
