Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Basilio Llin made the kick off which started today's match. The attack was good, but when Baldomero Froylan in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Manucho getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roman Curcio hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Canquel's Baldomiro Rencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eusebio Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baldomero Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manucho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Baldomero Froylan scored to the left of an out of position Matias Araoz, making the score, 1-0. After 32 minutes, Arturo Haitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canquel and the Manucho players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manucho booed when Canquel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baldomero Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Ceandro got free with Matias Araoz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Canquel getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arturo Haitz hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Froylan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Haroldo Blanco fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manucho's protests and gave Haroldo Blanco a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes, Manucho's Valentin Arnau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceferino Cordaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manucho reached it. 92 minutes into the match, Baldomero Froylan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Araoz. Manucho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Froylan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Baldomero Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Canquel had played much better football throughout.
