With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Araoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Basilio Llin had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Ongile during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Pituil AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manucho:s goal. After 83 played minutes Manucho got a freekick which was hit by Roman Curcio. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manucho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prudencio Barrionuevo was slow to take the kick. During this time Pituil AFC's players had a chance to rest. Guaberto Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Guaberto Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Gregorio Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pituil AFC and the Manucho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Acevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Acevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute, one of Pituil AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pituil AFC. Pituil AFC:s Americo Ezkerra showed great skill when he stopped Valentin Arnau:s penalty. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
