After 18 minutes, Pablo Bihar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canquel and the Carbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Canquel got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Bihar. Carbo's Federico Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Froylan in the 22nd minute of play. Baldomero Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Berdoi having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Freddy Gartxot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Cordaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luis Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Freddy Gartxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ceferino Cordaro made a huge save. After 38 minutes of play, Carbo's Freddy Gartxot made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionisio Gudesteo's late challenge caught a Canquel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canquel booed when Carbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Berdoi having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Elivareo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Carbo's Federico Berdoi got control of the ball when Nicanor Ceandro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Freddy Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Carbo fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Carbo's Freddy Gartxot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
