Horacio Asier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Ceandro in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Tiburcio Raulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAMALLO FBC and the Canquel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes RAMALLO FBC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Raulo. 14 minutes into the match, Canquel's Baldomiro Rencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ceferino Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Raulo in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in RAMALLO FBC's zone, Baldomero Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Asier came out of the goal and Baldomero Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, Canquel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Haitz to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ceferino Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Gonzalo Lixandro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 37th match minute, RAMALLO FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horacio Asier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Ceandro might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Asier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Ceandro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd match minute, RAMALLO FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Toli to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Rencio, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Canquel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Froylan to make the kick off. Tiburcio Raulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ceferino Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the game, Alonzo Videl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canquel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RAMALLO FBC the free kick. Tiburcio Raulo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ceferino Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RAMALLO FBC. In the 67th minute of the match Cipriano Gilesindo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Cordaro skillfully saved the ball. After 70 minutes, Adrian Anaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAMALLO FBC and the Canquel players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RAMALLO FBC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Adrian Anaya hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Canquel's Arturo Haitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horacio Asier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canquel reached it. Horacio Asier made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Nicanor Ceandro sent off a good shot on target. If Nicanor Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canquel's Baldomero Froylan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, RAMALLO FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Toli to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Froylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Hernan Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Gonzalo Lixandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAMALLO FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Lixandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Canquel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
