The supporters of Almirante Brown booed when Pituil AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Acevedo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cornelio Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ezkerra having to interfere. Guaberto Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Honorio Orlondo made a huge save. Pituil AFC's Guaberto Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Honorio Orlondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Isaio. Fernan Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Bertin in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Orlondo saved Almirante Brown from getting behind. Guaberto Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Honorio Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Ourente to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Bertin in the 34th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Honorio Orlondo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Mino got free with Honorio Orlondo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Guaberto Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Ourente to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Almirante Brown's Ezequiel Mikelar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Bertin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gregorio Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Mino in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Americo Primo hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Prudencio Barrionuevo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorio Orlondo skillfully saved the ball. Honorio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Mikelar to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Fernan Bertin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almirante Brown's Honorio Orlondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Guaberto Mino put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Honorio Orlondo. After having played for 83 minutes, Fernan Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pituil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Bertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pituil AFC's Fernan Bertin in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
