But to his dismay, German Miliano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Guido Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Benigno Quirce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Benigno Quirce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tronco Juniors's Guido Nahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guido Nahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Ler having to interfere. Frontera FC were furious when Cristobal Afonso was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Frontera FC! The goalkeeper, Romeo Ler, was totally fooled by Tronco Juniors's Silvio Policarpio, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Tronco Juniors's Candido Canor got a free kick in the 39th minute. Benigno Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Nahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Sazon during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 45th minute of the match Mariano Sazon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mariano Sazon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mariano Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Quirce made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tronco Juniors's zone, Benigno Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Nahia came out of the goal and Benigno Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Canor's late challenge caught a Frontera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Canor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Frontera FC booed when Tronco Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Miliano in the 59th minute of play. Tronco Juniors's Guido Nahia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Tronco Juniors from getting a goal against them. When German Miliano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tronco Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Miliano couldn't finish the play. Tronco Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Frontera FC for a fine match.
