The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Orlo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celedonio Isaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Otoniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celedonio Isaio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aeteano's goalkeeper Serafin Otoniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Carmelo Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sueldos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Otoniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Aeteano's Severino Cuarto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Carmelo Herrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Otoniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aeteano's Serafin Otoniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Isaio in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aeteano's zone, Carmelo Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Otoniel came out of the goal and Carmelo Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carmelo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aeteano's zone, Celedonio Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Otoniel came out of the goal and Celedonio Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cecilio Espiridion kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nemesio Orlo. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Elia during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Aeteano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Elia to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Sueldos AFC's Carmelo Herrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Otoniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Carmelo Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celedonio Isaio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Sueldos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Isaio couldn't finish the play. Fernando Hermelando hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Sueldos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Espiridion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Sueldos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Herrera to maneuver through the defense. If Cecilio Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Fernando Hermelando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Celedonio Isaio made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Otoniel. Aeteano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Celedonio Isaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Serafin Otoniel made a huge save. After 71 played minutes Aeteano got a freekick which was hit by Hector Frichoso. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Carolo Panfilo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle sounded Sueldos AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aeteano.
