Weekend FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera FC the free kick. Albino Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Quirce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Ulizes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Ignacio Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Romeo Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Albino Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Ulizes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Ignacio Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fulgencio Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Pinto got free with Romeo Ler in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. Weekend FC's Fulgencio Marino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Ler having to interfere. In the 35th minute Benigno Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 38 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Lleir commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frontera FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Weekend FC's Adolfo Pacorro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romeo Ler. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Marino made a kick off. Ignacio Pinto struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Romeo Ler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weekend FC. Elias Gonzales got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Elias Gonzales hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Benigno Quirce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ulises Ulizes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frontera FC's Benigno Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Weekend FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alfonso Pes hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Frontera FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Loi. If Ignacio Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baltasar Brais struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Romeo Ler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weekend FC. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera FC's zone, Ignacio Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Ler came out of the goal and Ignacio Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Benigno Quirce could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Ulises Ulizes however easily saved by the left post. Benigno Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ulises Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
