The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulises Ulizes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Frichoso in the 4th minute of play. Elias Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hector Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ulises Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Cecilio Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Otoniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Pinto in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ignacio Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weekend FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Otoniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Otoniel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Marino in the 16th minute of play forced Aeteano's goalkeeper Serafin Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Marino in the 21st minute of play. Baltasar Brais charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Brais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Weekend FC's Baltasar Brais got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tobias Galo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Ulizes. Weekend FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Aeteano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Janpier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Espiridion in the 40th minute of play forced Weekend FC's goalkeeper Ulises Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Weekend FC's Ignacio Pinto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Otoniel was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Serafin Otoniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hector Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aeteano's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Frichoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hector Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes, Weekend FC's Leonides Palos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafin Otoniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Weekend FC reached it. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weekend FC's goalkeeper Ulises Ulizes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Weekend FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hector Frichoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Fulgencio Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Weekend FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Aeteano's Lino Quinto got a free kick in the 89th minute. Serafin Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Weekend FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aeteano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
