Alsina's Rolando Frantzes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SAN LORENZO. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Pueblo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Cordarryl saved SAN LORENZO from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Diego Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO's Tomas Cordarryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Pueblo in the 14th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Tomas Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 played minutes SAN LORENZO got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Manex. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Hori to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Alsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Mark to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Alsina's Diego Pueblo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Cordarryl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Pueblo 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Godofredo Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tomas Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Pueblo in the 71st minute of the match. Alsina's Natalio Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th match minute, SAN LORENZO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Alsina's Rolando Frantzes tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, SAN LORENZO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diego Pueblo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 87 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Tomas Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Dantel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Pueblo in the 89th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Tomas Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Gamus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Goyo. Alsina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomas Cordarryl came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Alsina's Natalio Dantel. But to his dismay, Natalio Dantel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
