The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Gorri during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Alsina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to El Retutu getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tomás Marino hit a great ball. If Diego Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Precioso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Diego Pueblo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Pueblo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Alsina getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pascual Gentza hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Pueblo to strike the kick off in the second half. Moises Eate didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Precioso during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 59 minutes into the match, Alsina's Natalio Dantel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moises Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alsina's Natalio Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Natalio Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Tomás Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match, Diego Pueblo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moises Eate saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victor Lehior struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Paulo Goyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Retutu. 95 minutes into the match, El Retutu's goalkeeper Moises Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Dantel. When the final whistle sounded Alsina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Retutu.
