In the 15th minute Honorio Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN got a freekick which was hit by Dante Gurutz. After recieving a nice pass, SAN LORENZO's Severino Txerran tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Lázaro Etxepare successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Cordarryl having to interfere. Honorio Maule blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Cordarryl having to make a save. CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's Lázaro Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Hori in the 31st minute of play. When Silvano Feo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SAN LORENZO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Feo couldn't finish the play. When CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's Pedro Fe in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 46 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN got a freekick which was hit by Dante Gurutz. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rosendo Hori made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Casado hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's Lázaro Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Txerran in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Silvano Feo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Etxepare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Fe in the 68th minute of the match. Pedro Fe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tomas Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Maules short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Tomas Cordarryl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Silvano Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's Dante Gurutz got a free kick in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Fe came free, but Tomas Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Honorio Maule cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tomas Cordarryl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaudencio Muno charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Muno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvano Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lázaro Etxepare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Etxepare having to interfere. The CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
