Bruno Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Cresenciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Acebal's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Viviano came free, but Bruno Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Caradaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Orzaize went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fabian Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bruno Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Aureo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Acebal's zone, Esteve Perutxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Enekoitz came out of the goal and Esteve Perutxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Perutxo scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Enekoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute Arturo Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Cresenciano in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Enekoitz saved Acebal from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Cresenciano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gaviotas FC's Fabian Quinten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Enekoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, Acebal's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Cresenciano came free, but Bruno Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Gurutz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Perutxo in the 59th minute of play forced Acebal's goalkeeper Bruno Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arturo Cresenciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Enekoitz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Esteban Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Esteve Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Bruno Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Cresenciano in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Orzaize. Bruno Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Israel Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Viviano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
