Tomas Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Silvano Feo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miranda the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO's Silvano Feo got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Eugenio Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Gurutz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Godofredo Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Eugenio Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Cordarryl having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Hori was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Silvano Feo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paolo Steven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosendo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Steven having to interfere. Silvano Feo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 70 played minutes SAN LORENZO got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Udalaitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Hori in the 79th minute of play forced Miranda's goalkeeper Paolo Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Prudencio Lugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Kauldi in the 93rd minute of the match. Silvano Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAN LORENZO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
