In the 35th minute Honorio Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Bertran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's zone, Narciso Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Etxepare came out of the goal and Narciso Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Fe took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Bertran. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Lorencio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panqueua AFC's goalkeeper Epifanio Bertran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Maule got free with Epifanio Bertran in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Fe in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Bertran saved Panqueua AFC from getting behind. Pedro Fe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Epifanio Bertran came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedro Fe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 64th minute. When Honorio Maule came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Maule couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's Honorio Maule nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Bertran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After having played for 74 minutes, Honorio Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB ATLETICO HURACAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
