The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Pirguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Astigar to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Pirguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Argina came free, but Zacarias Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernando Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Petri was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Leon Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Etxepare in the 26th minute of the match. Amancio Jordy hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Zacarias Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Artemio Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Petri having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Fernan Etxepare had to leave the field with a concussion. 40 minutes into the game, Romulo Urre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamberías's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirguita AFC the free kick. A collision led to Tamberías getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Romulo Urre hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirguita AFC's zone, Fernando Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Petri came out of the goal and Fernando Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Jordy in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Donio to make the kick off. Carolo Abarca's late challenge caught a Tamberías's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Pirguita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Abarca. After 56 minutes Pirguita AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximiliano Argina who took care of the corner kick. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pirguita AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximiliano Argina was slow to take the kick. During this time Tamberías's players had a chance to rest. Maximiliano Argina made a great header on Tamberías's corner, it was just that Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Pirguita AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dalmacio Rudolfo hit a great ball. Fernando Donio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Zacarias Petri made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Dalmacio Rudolfo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Fero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Leon Fero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Rudolfo in the 69th minute of play. Dalmacio Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Tamberías was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th match minute, Pirguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Urko to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Donio in the 77th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Zacarias Petri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd minute, one of Pirguita AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pirguita AFC. Maximiliano Argina walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Pirguita AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Fernando Donio scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Petri, making the score, 2-1. After 93 played minutes Pirguita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Ruy.
