Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filomeno Socorro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernardo Gartxot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albano Aurken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Gaston Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Socorro in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Merlo FC's Horacio Fonda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Gartxot. Bernardo Gartxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 19th minute, Severo Eyague ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gaudencio Navarro lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute, Gaudencio Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Etxepare during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nereo Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Albano Aurken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Blasco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Lázaro Kiliz, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gaston Vermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Socorro went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of No seas Policia! booed when Merlo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Socorro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Vermudo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Caitano during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Merlo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Caitano to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Albano Aurken made the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Horacio Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Socorro in the 55th minute of play forced Merlo FC's goalkeeper Gaston Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Eyague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as No seas Policia!'s Filomeno Socorro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaston Vermudo. That made the score 2-3 after 62 minutes of play. In the 66th minute, Severo Eyague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Socorro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Vermudo was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Filomeno Socorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Vermudo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, No seas Policia!'s Emiliano Blasco got a free kick in the 71st minute. No seas Policia!'s Bernardo Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Bonifaco in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in No seas Policia!'s zone, Aurelio Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Gartxot came out of the goal and Aurelio Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Severo Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filomeno Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Merlo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. No seas Policia! were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
