The wind increased when Carolo Abarca made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Abarca in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Abadia saved Pedrero FC from getting behind. After having played for 58 minutes, Rodolfo Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Ourente during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carolo Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 66th minute of the match Silvio Celio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Silvio Celio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th minute, Silvio Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Isidoro Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pirguita AFC booed when Pedrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Pedrero FC defense, Carolo Abarca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Abadia. The Pedrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Abadia should have stopped the shot. If Carolo Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Rodolfo Velasco had to leave the field with a concussion. Leonel Calisto's late challenge caught a Pedrero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
