Gaston Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Merlo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Donio came free, but Gaston Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Donio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albano Aurken spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Leon Fero grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Fernando Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Vermudo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tamberías's Amancio Jordy got a free kick in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Fernando Donio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Vermudo. Merlo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Donio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 84 minutes into the match, Fernando Donio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Merlo FC's Gaston Vermudo. Gaston Vermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute Fernando Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamberías's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
