In the 26th minute, Lucas Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rulais FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Rosio in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pirguita AFC's zone, Justino Foro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Petri came out of the goal and Justino Foro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Rosio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Zacarias Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rulais FC. In the 36th minute Justino Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Justino Foro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rulais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Foro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rulais FC booed when Pirguita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Dario Cucao charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Cucao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rulais FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
