An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mazuste in the 19th minute of play forced Tamberías's goalkeeper Leon Fero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tamberías's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Cloyo came free, but Leon Fero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Argina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamberías's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fagundez FC the free kick. Maximiliano Argina hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bernabe Bidari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Donio's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute Jose Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fagundez FC's zone, Artemio Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Bidari came out of the goal and Artemio Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Fernando Donio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamberías's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fagundez FC the free kick. The supporters of Fagundez FC booed when Tamberías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Ponc charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Ponc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 minutes, Vicente Cloyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagundez FC and the Tamberías players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fagundez FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. But to his dismay, Fernando Donio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Fernando Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th match minute, Fagundez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Heli to maneuver through the defense.
