Edmundo Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Jobo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Eduardo Sotero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ovidio Eleder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Pera de Goma's Edmundo Negri in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL FLACO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Faustino Jobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Anselmo Gaspard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Jobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Anselmo Gaspard took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Jobo. Faustino Jobo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 40 minutes into the game, Eduardo Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL FLACO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pera de Goma the free kick. Silvano Lando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Santiago Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Jobo. EL FLACO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 60 minutes into the match, EL FLACO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Negri came free, but Faustino Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Jobo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Faustino Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Negri in the 65th minute of play. After 70 played minutes EL FLACO FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Amor. Pera de Goma's Ovidio Eleder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Pera de Goma from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Lando in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Jobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Santiago Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
