The crowd rose to their feet as Hinojo FC's Melquiades Batista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prudencio Mitxaut. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. In the 13th match minute, Nortcuys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. Hinojo FC's Benedicto Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Gaskon in the 18th minute of play. Prudencio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Fabian Gaskon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hinojo FC's Benedicto Illan. In the 94th minute Antonio Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Hinojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Gaskon came free, but Benedicto Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nortcuys played a much better game than Hinojo FC and deserved their victory. The Hinojo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
