In the 27th minute Maximino Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fernando Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Maximino Flor notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elertondo FC's Fernando Larpe. Fernando Larpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximino Flor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Larpe came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximino Flor slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Osvaldo Teodor charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 43rd minute, Osvaldo Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Flor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Larpe having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Dino was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Joel Fero made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Rami. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Elertondo FC's Fernando Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Flor in the 70th minute of play. Maximiliano Dino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Maximino Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Larpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 87 played minutes Elertondo FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Dino. After having played for 90 minutes, Maximino Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Flor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
