After having played for 19 minutes, Felipe Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Florida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Atarrabi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Chivas de mexico's keeper Gavino Veremundo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Osvaldo Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Gervasio Gaizko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Hipolito Atarrabi from a close distance when the talented Gavino Veremundo managed to make a qualified save. Chivas de mexico's players were relieved. In the 34th minute, Hipolito Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Hipolito Atarrabi made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Veremundo. Chivas de mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The wind increased when Felipe Estevon made the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Atarrabi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Veremundo. Gavino Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 59th match minute, FC Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Teodor to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Gervasio Gaizko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Arixo. FC Florida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Gaizko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Felipe Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Veremundo having to interfere. Gavino Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Felipe Estevon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivas de mexico's Gavino Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Felipe Estevon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Florida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
