It was a penalty for Club Atlético La Falda! In the 11th minute of the match FGB Ituzaingo got a corner. Club Atlético La Falda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafino Calixto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute FGB Ituzaingo were awarded a corner. Serafino Calixto went to the cornerflag to take it. FGB Ituzaingo's Serafino Calixto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evelio Costante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Vargas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Panfilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Birila charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Birila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusebio Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Panfilo having to interfere. Braulio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernardo Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Bernardino Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FGB Ituzaingo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético La Falda the free kick. Club Atlético La Falda's Damian Botello was substituted for Hector Garaile. After a rather tough play, FGB Ituzaingo's Bernardino Fernandes got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Uzuri in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atlético La Falda's goalkeeper Evelio Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Club Atlético La Falda got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Llope. Martin Enekoitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Evelio Costante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atlético La Falda's Braulio Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Botello's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Aristides Aztore fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético La Falda's protests and gave Aristides Aztore a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Club Atlético La Falda got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Aztore. In the 46th match minute, FGB Ituzaingo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Braulio Vargas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Panfilo skillfully saved the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by FGB Ituzaingo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Braulio Vargas was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético La Falda's players had a chance to rest. Tomás Mendebal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Bernardo Panfilo. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bernardo Panfilo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Vargas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 73 minute of play. Bernardo Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Vargas in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Mauro Birila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FGB Ituzaingo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 93 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Falda's Braulio Vargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Panfilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FGB Ituzaingo's Mauro Birila got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Mauro Birila off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in FGB Ituzaingo's zone, Christian Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Panfilo came out of the goal and Christian Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético La Falda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
