The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rene Lluc struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Baldomero Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hernando. If Rene Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Octavio Lordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hernando fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaspar Cresconio struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Baldomero Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hernando. Baldomero Tomi came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Hernando's Gaspar Cresconio. But to his dismay, Gaspar Cresconio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Baldomero Tomi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Gorka in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goalkeeper Baldomero Tomi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Gorka. Ezequiel Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Tomi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Lordi in the 27th minute of play forced Arroyito's goalkeeper Baldomero Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernando's Ezequiel Gorka got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octavio Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gaspar Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Lluc struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Baldomero Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hernando. Gaspar Cresconio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Tomi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Gaspar Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baldomero Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Orlando Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Ezequiel Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernando's Lucio Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Jerrold in the 56th minute of play. Baldomero Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Gorka in the 60th minute of the match. Ezequiel Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rene Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Hernando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Lluc couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Gorka in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Lordi in the 73rd minute of play forced Arroyito's goalkeeper Baldomero Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Modestio during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloy Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Hernando getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Rene Lluc hit a great ball. Octavio Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Arroyito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Reynardo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Baldomero Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Tomi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hernando fully deserved thier win.
