The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Greenfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Obeko to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Hernando. Gaspar Cresconio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Silverio Edwardo. 0-1. After having played for 8 minutes, Gaspar Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernando's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Silverio Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Greenfield's zone, Ezequiel Gorka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Edwardo came out of the goal and Ezequiel Gorka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Arnalt in the 16th minute of play forced Hernando's goalkeeper Lucio Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gaspar Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Edwardo having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Hernando's Ezequiel Gorka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Edwardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gaspar Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alberto Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hernando fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Abascal couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Greenfield got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Obeko. Gaspar Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Edwardo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Adolfo Jaunzuria made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Marz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Greenfield's Adolfo Jaunzuria shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ezequiel Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Silverio Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ezequiel Gorka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Hernando fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Hernando's Ezequiel Gorka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ezequiel Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Edwardo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Greenfield defense, Gaspar Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Edwardo. The Greenfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Edwardo should have stopped the shot. Ezequiel Gorka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Greenfield's goalkeeper Silverio Edwardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Greenfield's zone, Gaspar Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Edwardo came out of the goal and Gaspar Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rene Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Lluc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ezequiel Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greenfield's Silverio Edwardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Greenfield from getting a goal against them. Hernando played a much better game than Greenfield and deserved their victory. The Greenfield players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
