Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Mon in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Celino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Norberto Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Geronimo Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Leo Mon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. POTENCIA FC's Mauro Celino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, POTENCIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Mon came free, but Mauro Celino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Leo Mon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the EQUUS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Hotz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
