Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prospero Frances started the match with the kick off. Agustin Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Joey having to interfere. After 5 played minutes El Charrua got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Eleder. When Prospero Frances fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pico's protests and gave Prospero Frances a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Prospero Frances hit a great ball. Filiberto Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Pico's goalkeeper Eustacio Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Bernebe. Eustacio Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Presebal's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Charrua's zone, Prospero Frances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Rodas came out of the goal and Prospero Frances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Delmar Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Chap struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Esteban Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pico. Timoteo Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rodas having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Pico's Prospero Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Rodas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Prospero Frances came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Frances couldn't finish the play. If Timoteo Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pico's Prospero Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pico's zone, Marciano Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Joey came out of the goal and Marciano Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Pico's Timoteo Chap sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Rodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Presebal to strike the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Presebal in the 61st minute of play. Marciano Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eustacio Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Rodas came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Pico's Timoteo Chap. But to his dismay, Timoteo Chap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 85 played minutes El Charrua got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Millan. 90 minutes into the match, El Charrua's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Batista came free, but Esteban Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
