The tension between the El Charrua and the Longchamps players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Longchamps booed when El Charrua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Braulio Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El Charrua getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jacobo Bastia hit a great ball. When Omar Enekoitz fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longchamps's protests and gave Omar Enekoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Oriol during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uriel Oriol hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Braulio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rodas having to interfere. With a little luck, El Charrua's Esteban Rodas got control of the ball when Braulio Abarca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Braulio Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marciano Presebal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Adan Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Charrua. Braulio Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Esteban Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Isias having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Filiberto Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Orlo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Anacleto Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Isias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uriel Oriol. El Charrua's Esteban Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Enekoitz in the 65th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Longchamps's goalkeeper Adan Isias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Filiberto Bernebe came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the El Charrua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Bernebe couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Presebal in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Isias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braulio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rodas having to interfere. When Longchamps's Omar Enekoitz in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Charrua's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Longchamps's zone, Filiberto Bernebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Isias came out of the goal and Filiberto Bernebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
