The Eustacio Joey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Prospero Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes of play, Pico's Timoteo Chap made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Juvenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Prospero Frances notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Luján's Pablo Juvenal. Pablo Juvenal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Israel Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Frances was the one to do the kick off. Pico's Eustacio Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Mattin in the 58th minute of play. Eustacio Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Mattin's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Cayetano Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Pico's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Paulin came free, but Eustacio Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
