Marciano Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nestor Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Taurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Bernebe went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Esteban Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Tohias in the 15th minute of the match. With 17 minutes on the clock, Rodolfo Umea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 16 minutes into the game, one of El Charrua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Clemente Tohias struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Esteban Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.CentralFC. Clemente Tohias might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Rodas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Angelo Nardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.CentralFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Florencio Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Filiberto Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Charrua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Tohias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Esteban Rodas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Angelo Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the R.CentralFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Nardo couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Eleder hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Clemente Tohias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes, R.CentralFC's Candido Lluc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteban Rodas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in R.CentralFC reached it. Angelo Nardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Esteban Rodas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Clemente Tohias made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Filiberto Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Charrua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Bernebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Nardo in the 55th minute of play forced El Charrua's goalkeeper Esteban Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Angelo Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Taurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. El Charrua's Hermengildo Eleder got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Agustin Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Bernebe in the 76th minute of play forced R.CentralFC's goalkeeper Nestor Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, R.CentralFC's Clemente Tohias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Rodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Tohias in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Filiberto Bernebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Taurino. That made the score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
