After 28 played minutes CamiFC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Gilen. Severo Otsoa came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by CamiFC's Gonzalo Fernanco. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Fernanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 39th minute of the match Dario Arlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Otsoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severo Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Beltza in the 40th minute of play. Rene Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Maureo in the 42nd minute of the match. Gonzalo Fernanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Otsoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Maureo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ricardo Maureo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CamiFC's Rene Ibon. Rene Ibon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Gonzalo Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmigonon F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
