The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anselmo Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Felix Garaile made a huge save. Diego Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Manuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Oncativo's Omar Salamon got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magnano AFC's Diego Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Salamon in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Aurelio Lehen made a precise shot to the right of Diego Manuelo. Magnano AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tobias Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Manuelo having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Atilano Quintin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ciriaco Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oncativo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Otsando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Manuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Lehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magnano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! If Anselmo Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Magnano AFC's zone, Omar Salamon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Manuelo came out of the goal and Omar Salamon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Manuelo having to interfere. When Aurelio Lehen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Oncativo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Lehen couldn't finish the play. Omar Salamon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Diego Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnano AFC's Anselmo Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dalmacio Gregory struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Felix Garaile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magnano AFC. Oncativo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
