Anier Argoitz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 17th minute, Maximino Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Cordaryal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Guaberto Dalmau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Ofelio in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Dalmau saved Abel from getting behind. Maximino Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Dalmau having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Ofelio in the 30th minute of play forced Abel's goalkeeper Guaberto Dalmau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Christian Oidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abel and the Guerrero players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Abel getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Christian Oidor hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Gustavo Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abel's Guaberto Dalmau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Argoitz made a kick off. If Maximino Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel's Anier Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Gustavo Ofelio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Guaberto Dalmau, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero's zone, Anier Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Arnau came out of the goal and Anier Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Argoitz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rodrigo Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abel. If Christian Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guerrero's Gustavo Ofelio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Dalmau made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Maximino Cordaryal sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Gustavo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
